Scott MacIntyre American Idol’s first blind finalist said “I do” to his longtime friend and fiancee, Christina Teich, on Thursday, his rep confirms to Us Weekly. The wedding took place in Scottsdale, Arizona and was a small, private affair with 200 attendees.

All music for the ceremony was written by MacIntyre, 26, including his new single “I Wanna Be” that is now available for purchase on iTunes. The newlyweds will honeymoon in Kauai, Hawaii, then plan to reside in Scottsdale.

In addition to his work as a musician, MacIntyre is a noted motivational speaker who has already toured in fifteen states this year. Next on his agenda is the release of his autobiography — By Faith, Not By Sight — which is scheduled for a May 2012 release.
